  • Radiology Department

  • The Radiology Department plays a significant role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through various diagnostic processes and interventional procedures using advanced medical imaging equipment. At BS General Hospital, a digital specialized hospital, we operate and maintain state-of-the-art medical equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), abdominal ultrasound machines, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy equipment. We use the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) instead of traditional X-ray films, allowing for shorter waiting times and efficient storage and retrieval of medical images, ultimately providing high-quality healthcare services.

  • General Radiography

X-ray examinations of the chest, abdomen, head, and musculoskeletal system Fluoroscopy examinations Esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, kidney examinations, and more

  • Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography uses harmless ultrasound waves to examine the presence, size, and characteristics of various diseases in organs such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and vascular system. It is essential for diagnosing conditions of the genitourinary system, breasts, pelvis, and for distinguishing abnormalities in the prostate and testes.

  • Computed Tomography (CT) Scan

CT scans work by using an X-ray tube that rotates around the body to collect X-ray beam intensities. The detector gathers this data, and a computer calculates the absorption strength of each section, reconstructing images based on the collected data. It is a vital examination method for diagnosing various conditions.

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scan

MRI utilizes a state-of-the-art device combining superconducting magnets with computers to generate diagnostic images. It receives signals from hydrogen atoms in the body to analyze information and create images, particularly excelling in diagnosing conditions related to the brain and spine.

  • Mammography

Mammography is an X-ray examination method that uses various angles to detect and diagnose conditions of breast tissue, ducts, and potential tumors, enabling early detection of breast cancer.
